I am Hungry

Wasa Krispy Bread Sandwich with Cheese/Salami

Wasa Krispy Bread Sandwich with Cheese/Salami

Today is one of those days. I feel hungry since I got up this morning (4.10 AM). As always I had started my day with eating a Banana and having a large glass of Flax Milk. Then I went to Kosama for my morning workout. I had a protein shake (Muscle Milk) right after and about 45 minutes after the workout I had a bowl of Oatmeal with Raisins. Usually this carries me through the morning until lunch time, but on some days I get burst feelings of being hungry. [Read more…]

Add Cardio Workouts to Your Marathon Training

Kosama My Zone Heart Rate monitor Summary

Kosama My Zone Heart Rate monitor Summary

It is 7.26 AM right now and I am at work. I had a 5.00 AM workout at Kosama this morning = Cardio Workout. Cardio at Kosama means high-intensity workouts like sprinting, tuck jumps, power lunges, speed skaters (in-place), and many many more forms of torture physical exercise. There are no weights involved and the overall goal is to train your cardiovascular system. Each high-intensity training unit is about 1 minute followed by 15 seconds of rest. However, during the rest you are being motivated to stay active by doing a boxer shuffle. [Read more…]

Sycamore Canyon 100K Review

It is Sunday, February 25, 2018 and I am sitting at the kitchen table a bit tired, but in great spirits after yesterday’s race. I ran and completed my very first 100K in 14 hrs. and 53 minutes. It was a long day and there were quite a few dark spots between mile 26 and […]
