I’ll be driving down Interstate 70 into Utah today and from there head south straight into Las Vegas, Nevada. Last night I picked up the rental car and then bought a few items at the grocery store. This morning I stopped at Einstein’s Bagels and got some bagels (Honeywheat) with cream cheese for the trip. I also stocked up on Bananas and Powerade for the trip. I got my car charger for my phone and from here on it is just driving. I am excited and anxious. Tomorrow I will be visiting the Health and Fitness Expo to pick up my race bib and the bag for gear check. A more detailed posting will then follow accordingly. Over and Out for today.

The infection is retreating, but it is taking its sweet time and that just makes me feel so frustrated. I am on the home-stretch of a long and busy 13 week journey to get ready for my first marathon and now this stupid ear infection is threatening to make all the hard work for nothing. [Read more…]
