Last year I ran my very first marathon race and it was quite a journey going from being just a casual runner to become a marathoner. When I started training for the marathon I had so many questions and overall it was quite overwhelming – especially since a) my training cycle was way shorter than recommended and b) I was doing other type of workouts that I did not want to give upon while training for the marathon. Two weeks before the race I got sick with a bad case of an ear infection, my ear drum ruptured, and I lost my feeling for balance/velocity. I still ran the marathon and proudly crossed the finish line back on November 17th, 2013. I packed all this information and my experience into a book and it is now available through Amazon.com and their Kindle Platform.
Free Book Giveaway
To celebrate the release of my book I am giving it away for free, but only tomorrow – Wednesday, 01/15/2014. You will not even need an Amazon Kindle to read the book. Amazon offers Kindle applications for the PC, iPhone/iPad, and of course for Android phones and tablets. The book usually costs $4.99 but will be made available for free this one day only.
The book is called “Run 26.2” and is a journal-like book and it will take you in chronological order through my training cycle all the way up to the marathon race day. I am also including marathon tips and tricks and other relevant information.
When you get the book and like it, please leave a review about it on Amazon.com’s website. This will help the book to be more visible so that more people can find it and ultimately buy it. I really appreciate it and I hope that you will enjoy my very personal marathon story.
You can find the book here. It will be available on Amazon.com totally free all Wednesday (01/15/2014 / Pacific Standard Time).
